As BDE’s creative director, my focus was packaging: finding the idea that would travel, and a thumbnail that felt natural. These seven show the formats we proved out and then ran back.

Winning A Royal Rumble On Every WWE 2K Game
“Win it in every game” was already crushing in the sports gaming niche. Earlier, with Agent 00, I’d worked on a video where we won a ring with the Lakers in every NBA 2K game, so we brought that format to WWE. We kept the thumbnail close to what had worked: a real stack of every WWE 2K game and a genuine reaction. Keeping it real paid off, and it became the biggest of these hits.

I Bought a $20,000 Ticket To The WWE Royal Rumble!
Brandon spent serious money on this ticket, and the packaging had to communicate that instantly. We took the night’s most viral moment, Logan Paul and Ricochet colliding mid-air, and built the thumbnail around it. We matched the lighting so it read as a real selfie from the vlog, which felt far more natural than a staged composite. That look became the template for every “I Bought” vlog after it.

I Bought A $20,000 Ticket To WrestleMania 40!
With the “I Bought” format proven, we ran it back for the biggest show of the year. One small detail made it feel more real: we added the arena barrier into the foreground of the thumbnail, so it read like a genuine view from Brandon’s seat. That barrier became a staple of every thumbnail in the series after it.

I Bought a $12,000 Ticket To WWE SummerSlam!
A new event, the same formula. Because the earlier “I Bought” vlogs had delivered, the audience trusted the premise, and the price in the title did the rest. Consistency turned a one-off hit into a repeatable series.

I Visited Every Major WWE Event In 2023!
We’d seen compilations perform well, and they had already done really well for Brandon’s MyRise series. So we brought the same idea to the IRL side, rolling a full year of major WWE events into one video. It clearly translated.

I Got A $5,000 Ticket To WWE WrestleMania 39!
The whole thumbnail hinged on one moment: Logan Paul frog-splashing KSI, dressed as a Prime bottle, through the announce table. It was one of the most talked-about spots of the weekend, and getting it to read clearly at thumbnail size took a lot of careful Photoshop work.

I Bought A $10,000 Ticket To WrestleMania 41!
For WrestleMania 41, we took a shot from the TV broadcast and composited it onto the scene from Brandon’s point of view. That let us build the best possible view of the moment, one no single camera in the arena actually captured, while still feeling like it came straight from the vlog.
